Where do all of the props and wardrobe at The Prop Store of London come from?
All of the items offered on this site have been acquired directly from either production or film companies, suppliers to the film industry or private collections and auction houses.
How often are new items listed on the website?
New items will be listed into the latest additions category on a daily basis, after a short period of time they will then be placed in the relevant movie and product category which can be located by using the search engine in each category - i.e. Props, Wardrobe etc.
How do I find the item that I'm looking for?
Just type in the name of the film or actor that you would like to see associated items from in the search box at the top left hand corner of each page and our database will do the rest. Alternatively click on the category that you would like to browse through (e.g. Props) and then choose your viewing preferences either with full information and photos or in quick view list format no photos - either way you can choose to look at the items by movie or by price order.
How do I know if these are authentic?
Each item researched prior to listing on our site, to the point where we are proud to offer it and entirely confident to supply it, complete with a lifetime money back Certificate of Authenticity. Please remember that you are not just buying a collectible, but a piece of movie history.
Are props or costumes always one of a kind?
Usually multiples are made of all principle props and costumes. This is for a variety of production and continuity reasons. For example a garment may be required to become bloody or bullet ridden as a story develops. Different versions of that costume will exist so that it can be filmed on out of sequence.
Props can be made in a variety of different versions. It may be a "hero" or "beauty" prop for close up shots, or lightweight for stunt and safety work. Some props might have functionality to them; perhaps they move or light up. Different versions may be produced to for fill each separate task required of it. The risk of damage while filming is another reason to produce multiples.
How do I buy an item from the website?
When you see an item you wish to purchase, just click on "Add to cart" and it will be held in your virtual shopping cart until you are finished shopping. If you wish to look at the items in you cart, just click the shopping cart icon at the top of the page. When you are finished shopping, go to your shopping cart and click "Complete order". You will then be prompted to enter you customer information, which will be transferred directly through to us on our guaranteed secure server.
How much is shipping?
After you place your order, someone will contact you to discuss your shipping options and charges for the various services available
How can I pay?
We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Switch and Delta. Alternatively you may wish to pay by check and international money order or wire transfer.

Can you locate items from MY favourite movie?
We offer a search and find facility - if you are looking for a particular Prop or items from a film that we don't currently have listed then let us know by using the Request requests form. We will try our hardest to track it down through our extensive Database or our Network of contacts.
