Press & Events
Here is a sample of some of the events and press coverage of The Prop Store Of London. In recent years we have also been asked to participate in live television and radio interviews and we are regularly contacted for advice from auction houses and collectors worldwide.
George Lucas is attempting to create the Lucas Cultural Arts Museum in San Francisco, at the Presidio’s Crissy Field site. The planned Museum would include a Cinematic Arts gallery display material that we know collectors would love to see. The Museum is currently up against strong opposition from competing proposal for the site at the Presidio.
Please go here and read the three finalist’s proposals, including the Lucas Cultural Arts Museum:
And then, mostly importantly, please leave a comment on the website voicing your support for the museum.
You can read more about the museum at www.lucasculturalartsmuseum.org, and for anyone in the Bay area, there is a public forum on Monday September 23rd at the Herbst at the Presidio on Moraga Ave., where George Lucas will be sharing the museum idea with the public, along with the other two finalists. Please help support this worthy cause that we would all love to see realized.
In a blink of an eye another Comic-Con is in the books. Thank you to everyone that stopped by the Prop Store booth, we had a blast and hope you all did too. We hope to see you all next year!
