Project Pinewood Sept 19th - 21st 2008

Project Pinewood is the first proposed purpose-built living and working community for film, television and the creative industries, linked to and interacting with Pinewood Studios.

The Prop Store was proud to be part of the launch of this exciting project.  We displayed a selection of props and costumes at the exhibition on Stage D which helped show a tiny glimpse into the incredible history at the studios while the main body of the event announced the vast project to the worlds media. The show ran for a week and featured a scale model of the proposed new site, video concepts and architects blueprints. Click Here for more details on Project Pinewood.

Star Wars Celebration Europe 2007 at Excel in London, UK

In July The Prop Store Of London was proud to be at the biggest Star Wars Exhibition Europe has ever seen.   Celebration Europe was a massive success with a huge attendance of Star Wars fans from all across Europe making the trip to Excel in London’s Docklands.

The Prop Store set out to not only provide a place to buy rare movie memorabilia but also to exhibit some amazing one of a kind pieces of cinematic history.  From the complete costume worn by Carrie-Anne Moss' as Trinity in the opening sequence of The Matrix to Jack Nicholson’s full costume worn whilst playing the Evil Joker in Batman or John Hurt's Space Suit that he wore playing Kane in the Sci-fi classic Alien to many more.  It was great to see people’s reactions to these rare works of art and to see people enjoy these pieces as much as we do.
