The Creeper's (Jonathan Breck) Animatronic Grabbing Legs used in the popular 2003 horror sequel, Jeepers Creepers II. The legs can be seen in the film when Coach Dwayne Barnes (Tom Tarantini) is suddenly grabbed from above by The Creepers’ legs and violently pulled up in the air to meet his demise, making for a very startling scene. The legs are made of soft foam in the center, with an outer cover of black latex foam that features a detailed scale pattern to represent The Creepers’ skin. The feet are animatronic, with handles at the top of each leg that will move the toes in a grabbing motion when squeezed together. The toes have attached claws made of hard resin. Also included are plungers and vinyl tubing connected at the top of each leg in order to pump movie blood to the clawed toes. The legs are covered by gray pants that have been heavily distressed for production; the legs measure approximately 40” (102 cm) in length, and 8” x 8” (20 cm x 20 cm) at the thighs. They are in good working condition with some wear and tear to the bottoms of the toes due to production use.
