Project Pinewood Sept 19th - 21st 2008
Project Pinewood is the first proposed purpose-built living and working community for film, television and the creative industries, linked to and interacting with Pinewood Studios.
The Prop Store was proud to be part of the launch of this exciting project. We displayed a selection of props and costumes at the exhibition on Stage D which helped show a tiny glimpse into the incredible history at the studios while the main body of the event announced the vast project to the worlds media. The show ran for a week and featured a scale model of the proposed new site, video concepts and architects blueprints. Click Here for more details on Project Pinewood.

Pinewood Studios 70th Birthday & Book Launch

The Propstore of London was proud to be at Pinewood Studios 70th Birthday & Book Launch. The Propstore was there to exhibit some rare costumes and props from films shot at the legendary film studio. The costumes that were on show were a complete Joker (Jack Nicholson) costume from Tim Burton’s Batman, Cooper’s (Richard T Jones) complete space suit from Event Horizon, a complete Necromonger Captain costume from Chronicles Of Riddick and a complete Mummy from the Mummy Returns. The featured props were a Pulse rifle and complete Sentry Gun from James Camerons’ classic sci-fi film Aliens.
The Propstore Is Proud To Announce The Opening Of Our LA Office April 2008
The Propstore of London is delighted to announce that we have opened an office in Los Angeles. We are proud to confirm that Brandon Alinger is joining the Propstore team to head up US based operations. Brandon is already well known to many collectors around the world, he is a long time collector and well-respected contributor to most things "props". He has visited many filming locations around the world, interviewed key crewmembers from many productions and written articles for film related publications. He has built a formidable reputation in our hobby and is regarded highly by those who meet him.
Brandon will be running our Los Angeles office, which will incorporate storage, distribution and a gallery. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome Brandon on board publicly and we are sure that he will become a key member of the team
