'The Commercial Appeal’ Prop Made Newspaper Cover

A prop made ‘The Commercial Appeal’ newspaper cover made for the dramatic adventure film Cast Away. This newspaper was made for the scenes towards the end of the film when Chuck (Tom Hanks) has returned home from the island and goes to visit Kelly (Helen Hunt); and papers referring to his disappearance can be seen on her table. The cover has the headline “Fed Ex Jet Lost At Sea” a picture of the storm zone where the plane went down. The back page has the world weather. Measures 59.5 x 35cm (23” x 14”)
