Achilles (Brad Pitt) Hero Metal SFX Stab Sword

This is Achilles (Brad Pitt) hero metal SFX Sword from the adaptation of Homer’s great epic Troy. The sword is constructed of stamped sheet metal and features a resin handle. The entire piece has been hand-painted and detailed to resemble ancient forged bronze. This sword is Achilles' SFX version, which features a special effects spring-loaded retractable tip, and would have been used during one of the many fight scenes to give the effect of an actor being stabbed. The fully extended sword measures approximately 28" (71cm) in length and 4" (10cm) at it's widest section. Due to production use this item displays light wear and chipping in the handles paint but overall this item remains in very good condition.
This item comes with a Prop Store Certificate of Authenticity.
