Alien Costume Tail

An alien tail from one of the terrifying creature costumes used in James Cameron’s highly successful sci-fi sequel Aliens. The tail is made from poly-foam that has been moulded into a sequence of vertebrae flowing from large to small, decorated either side with a design not unlike corrugated piping, all decorated in shades of brown and forming the 'bio-machine' look Giger is so famous for.
Running the entire length of the tail is a tube that would have housed a wire cable that enabled the production to give it it's memorable chilling movements. Through extensive production use there are small cracks forming between the vertebrae, one of which is missing a small chunk., but is in otherwise great condition and an instantly recognisable piece from this iconic creature. Measures approximately 160cm (63”) long.
