Alien vs. Predator
Alien Warrior Insert Tail Tip

This is an Alien Warrior insert tail tip created for the production of the 2004 sci-fi film Alien vs. Predator. The tail was created for use in the film during close-up “attack” shots where an Alien Warrior strikes with its long deadly tail to kill its’ prey. This piece was created to be able to stab through different material aka "prey" and features a half resin, half metal tail tip connected to a highly detailed, foam latex section of tail vertebrae. Additionally, a long metal rod runs through the interior, which was used by the puppeteer for stability and control during filming. The tail displays some areas of wear due to production use, including chipped paint and some tears in the foam, but overall the entire piece remains in fair condition and the foam remains soft to the touch. Measures approximately 92" x 5.5" (234cm x 14cm.)
This piece will come with a signed letter of authenticity from Amalgamated Dynamics, Inc. co-founders Alec Gillis and Tom Woodruff, Jr., as well as a Prop Store Certificate of Authenticity.
