Claus Von Satuffenberg's (Tom Cruise) Complete Uniform

Col. Claus von Stauffenberg’s (Tom Cruise) complete costume worn in the 2008 WWII thriller Valkyrie. The defiant senior member of the Nazi party can be seen in this style of uniform at several points in the movie after his campaign in Africa and during the plot to assassinate Hitler and remove him from power in Germany.
The grey uniform jacket features four pockets, sewn in faux collar, red epaulettes with silver braids and two brass pips, silver braided dual-stripe collar boards and an embroidered Panzer emblem on the right chest. Also included is a German Cross badge and golden Wound badge in recognition of the loss of his eye and hand in battle, hand-marked inside “Tom Cruise”. Interestingly the various badges and insignia appear to have been interchanged between different jackets as and when required, and so throughout the film there are a wide variety of different jacket and badge compilations seeing being worn.
Also included are his grey trousers with bright maroon vertical stripes running down each leg, again marked “Tom Cruise”, and matching cap complete with maroon piping, dual silver braid across the peak, metal Panzer emblem and embroidered leaf motif with raised red circle in the centre labelled “Cruise”. The set is in wonderful condition and an excellent piece from one of the key characters in the movie.
