Complete Bloody Macedonian Soldier Costume

A complete Macedonian soldier costume used in the 2004 Colin Farrel historical epic Alexander. Several of the soldiers forming part of the great leaderâÂÂs vast army can be seen wearing this style of costume throughout the movie in numerous bloody battles. The set consists of a smooth tall sloping helmet with dark faux horse hair plume, a pair of bespoke leather lace and buckle boots (size 10), a pair of woven leather gauntlets, a pair of beige elasticated linen shorts (size 26-32), a large cream linen shirt, and finally a cream set of chest armour made from a carpet like material that hooks over the shoulders and around the waist fastening with leather thong and buckles and featuring cingulum and ornate leather patches on these and across the chest. The entire ensemble shows plenty of signs of use on the hot desert sets, most noticeably the sheer amount of prop blood covering the armour. A fantastic complete costume from the movie.
