Spalding basketball used in Ridley Scott’s mystery sci-fi Prometheus (2012). The type of ball can be seen in the opening scenes of the movie when the android David (Michael Fassbender) is passing time until he awakens the crew from hypersleep.
The Spalding orange basketball is a ‘Game Ball Series’ outdoor ball which is a production back-up, being slightly less worn than the one seen in the final cut. This is a fun memento that would be a fantastic edition to any collection.
