Drop Ship Bug Stomper Decal

A Drop Ship 'Bug Stomper' Decal used in the James Cameron sci-fi sequel Aliens. This memorable artwork can be seen emblazoned across the side of the Drop Ship featured throughout the movie before it crashes into the planet on its rescue mission, and is the Colonial Marine's mascot.
The round motif is hand painted onto a circular piece of thick paper with a vivid red background, over which is painted a angry Eagle in army boots wielding and shooting a big-ass gun, cartridges flying, with the words “Bug Stomper” above and the rather aggressive motto “We Endanger Species” below. The colourful piece was then glued to the side of the full sized ship for filming and salvaged once the production was completed. It is in a good condition, you can still see the brush strokes and original lines, with some creases and a slight tear behind the Eagle's head which occurred as it was being peeled from the drop ship, and is stored on a grey plastic board that uses the adhesive residue. The artwork measures 41cm (16”) across, and is an iconic piece of Aliens history.
