Star Wars - Ep V - The Empire Strikes Back
First Draft Production Script

This script is an original, production-used first draft screenplay of the classic sci-fi film Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. The 128 page script is labeled “First Draft, 2-23-78” and features the title 'Star Wars Sequel' alongside the author of the screenplay and Star Wars Corp. information. Additionally, the first-draft, three hole-punched script is fastened with metal brads and is printed on white paper sized 8.5” x 11” (22cm x 28cm). While this script lacks the hand-stamped security code frequently found on original production scripts, it was obtained directly from a key crew member on the film, and was issued to him early on in the production in 1978. The script displays light wear, but overall remains in good condition.
