Hero Metal Reaver Ship Harpoon

A hero metal Reaver harpoon used in the Joss Whedon sci-fi adventure Serenity. The nasty looking weapon can be seen early in the film when the pursuing Reaver ship it shoots at the crew and it flies straight through Jayne’s (Adam Baldwin) leg and dragging him down. It is made entirely from metal and has two sprung arms which can be folded back and kept in place with a sliding fastener. It has been intentionally distressed to look greasy and fitting for the Reavers, and even still has prop blood around the end from its use on set. Measures 54c (21”) and a great piece from a memorable action moment in the movie!
