Illusive Originals Replica Chewbacca Bust

An Illusive Originals Licensed Replica Chewbacca bust, a character made famous in George Lucas’ epic trilogy Star Wars. The memorable Wookie, companion of the renegade Han Solo, was originally created in all his furry glory by the famed make-up artist Stuart Freeborn, portrayed by all 7’2” of Peter Mayhew and based on a combination of a bear, monkey and Lucas’ own pet Malmute dog, Indiana. Illusive originals have carefully recreated the bust of Chewbacca using detailed measurements and photographs of the original maquette stored at the Lucasfilm Archives.
It is cast in foam filled latex and covered with hand laid yak and camel hair to recreate the unique shaggy fur, the eyes are acrylic and have been hand painted with eight different colours along with the mouth to give it a more realistic feel. Numbered 2701 of 7500, the approved life sized bust is presented on a sturdy wooden base complete with engraved brass plaque and original COA.
