Die Hard With A Vengeance
John McClane's (Bruce Willis) Wooden Stake Display

John McClane’s (Bruce Willis) wooden stake used in the 1995 action packed movie Die Hard With A Vengeance. This vicious chunk of wood was used towards the end of the movie once Zeus (Samuel L Jackson) and John are aboard the tanker that’s rigged to explode, when John takes on the massive henchman Targo (Nick Wyman) and plunges a shard of wood into his leg as a distraction. The prop is made from an actual piece of lightweight splintered wood that measures approximately 31cm (12”), and is still covered in prop blood from the effect.
The shard has a distinctive shape and the various nicks and curves appear to be a good match to the one seen on screen. It comes presented in a custom built display with laser cut mount board featuring the movie title and stills of the moment. The hinged opening frame allows quick and easy access to the prop, and measures 40cm x 56cm (15.75” x 22”).
This item comes with a Prop Store Certificate of Authenticity.
