Lara Croft's (Angelina Jolie) Prop Trick Knife Display

A prop folding knife used by Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie) in the 2003 action movie Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life. The signature trick weapon belonging to the intrepid archaeologist can be seen on various occasions throughout the movie, occasionally serving as a comforting movement playing with the smooth trick opening functionality. The entire prop is custom made from aluminium, never meant to be a functioning knife, and pivots at the base of the silver coloured 'blade' on both sides. The two handles are coloured bronze with intricate etched designs covering the surface. The unique piece comes presented in a custom built opening frame featuring laser cut mount board incorporating the movie title and stills. The hinged display allows full access to the prop and measures 46cm x 38cm (18“ x 15“). The prop itself is still in great condition with some minor marks from production use.
