Mal's (Nathan Fillion) Stunt Trousers & T-Shirt

A pair of Mal’s (Nathan Fillion) stunt trousers worn in the Joss Whedon cult sci-fi adventure Serenity. The captain of the unlikely crew wears this style of trousers through many scenes in the movie with the distinctive black rubber strips across the left leg. The slim fitting custom made trousers are greenish brown and in a very well used condition with buttons either side and elastic loops at the bottom to ensure they didn’t ride up during filming. Since they are marked inside as “Stunt” not “Stunt Double”, this implies that they may have actually been worn by Nathan Fillion in some high action sequences, although this cannot be confirmed. Also included is a white t-shirt marked “Mal” inside the neck with black pen which would most likely have been worn underneath his unforgettable shirts with a v-shaped custom cut neck line.
