Prometheus
Medical Bay Panel
Stock # 27200
This panel was used in Prometheus, Ridley Scott’s 2012 Sci-Fi epic. The panels appear in the medical bay when Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace) is operating on the alien head found in the pyramid.
The panel frame itself is made of wood which has a plastic attachment above it, this has screws in the back which were used to place the item to the central apparatus in the medical bay. The entire framing has been painted white. It has an opening on the side which was used to place an Ipad inside the frame to create the screen, this was removed by film crew and has been replaced with black acrylic. It is surrounded by an engraved lining which adds to the intentional futuristic effect. It also has grey writing on a panel above the screen which reads S.I.N. 1ZVHT – 82H48511AS35.
This superb piece measures approximately 32cm x 32.5cm x 11cm (12.5” x 12.75” x 4.5”) and has some slight markings due to use and movement on set however overall it is in a very good condition.
This item comes with a Prop Store Certificate of Authenticity.
