Prometheus
Mess Deck Intercom Control Panel
Stock # 27286
A small control panel from the production of Ridley Scott’s sci-fi epic Prometheus. These can be seen inserted into the wall above the settees in the crew’s common area where the snooker table is situated. They are visible when Janek (Idris Elba) is decorating the Christmas tree.
This particular panel has been crafted from resin which has been painted a warm grey to give it a metallic impression. It features a button which does not light up, with this there are carved vents which could possibly be used for the crew to speak into in order to communicate with other areas of the ship. A raw umber brown coloured insert to one side of the panel adds to its overall futuristic appearance.
This is an imaginative piece from an epic set, it measures approximately 20.5cm x 8cm (8” x 3.25”) and although there are some slight blemishes due to use and movement it is in overall a very good condition.
This item comes with a Prop Store Certificate of Authenticity.
