Saw
Metal Hacksaw

This item is a hacksaw used in the 2004 horror film Saw. Hacksaws such as this one can be seen throughout the film as Adam (Leigh Whannell) and Lawrence (Cary Elwes) discover they must saw through their feet if they ever want to leave their shared room alive. The saw is made of metal which has been painted brown and also has a black plastic handle featuring numerous rivets and finger grips. The blade has a wingnut which can be removed to change or rotate the blade. This item, which was obtained directly from the film's prop master, has numerous minor scratches throughout due to production use, is in very good condition, and measures 16” x 5” (41cm x 13cm.)
