Muslim Soldier's Ornate Helmet

A Muslim Soldier’s helmet worn in the Ridley Scott 2005 crusade movie Kingdom of Heaven. The ornate helmet was worn by members of the great Saladin’s Muslim army, the opposing force to the Christian King Baldwin. It is made from durable vinyl sprayed silver and intentionally distressed by the production to look battle worn and aged with small nicks in the surface and a very light layer of black spray paint. It has a large amount of Arabic writing on the repeating pattern of bands and teardrop shaped embellishments covering the piece, with a vertical nose guard extending up to a semi-circle point. It has a leather strap to secure it to the wearer and is in very good production worn condition. Measures 27cm (10.5”) tall, 23cm (9”) long and 21cm (8.25”) wide.
