Mission To Mars
NASA Prop Radar
Stock # 23777
This is a prop NASA radar from the 2000 sci-fi film, Mission to Mars. This item can be seen in the beginning of the film as the first Mars mission crew attempts to scan a large rock formation with radar and by doing so a large dust vortex envelops and kills all of the crew members except Luke Graham (Don Cheadle.) The NASA labeled "Ground Penetrating Radar" is constructed primarily out of plastic and features a protruding metal arm. The entire piece is covered with warning labels, as well as NASA product information, including part and serial number. This item displays wear from production use and age but overall remains in fair condition. Measures approximately 15" x 9" (38cm x 23cm) with the metal arm extending 7.5" (19cm) from the body.
This item comes with a Prop Store Certificate of Authenticity.
