Ned Kynaston (Billy Crudup) Orange Dress

This amazing dress was worn by Ned Kynaston (Billy Crudup) in the Claire Danes and Rupert Everett movie Stage Beauty. The actor wore this dress in the scenes at the beginning of the film where he is dressed flamboyantly as a woman. This brightly coloured fabulous custom made dress is in stark contrast to the neutral colours worn by the rest of the cast. This is mentioned in the commentary on the DVD and was purposely done to make the dress overtly vibrant.
The dress is made from a satin-like shiny orange fabric with cream coloured material around the collar and the sleeves, which have small diamantes on them. The front of the dress and the collar have gold and faux jewel decorations on them. The back of the dress laces up and there is a corseted undergarment padded with fake bosoms. No size marked. Slight set used wear but overall in very good condition for this fantastic costume.
This item comes with a Prop Store Certificate of Authenticity.
