Serenity
Operative Stunt Sword
Stock # 11298
A bloodied fighting sword used by “The Operative” (Chiwetal Ejiofor) in the sci-fi adventure Serenity. This resin bladed weapon has a black plastic handle with black cord inlaid to help give the user a better grip. The blade itself has a repeating rectangular pattern along the top edge which still has fake blood inside. The sword was the weapon of choice for “The Operative” and can easily be spotted in many memorable scenes. This light weight bloody stunt version of the weapon was used during scenes when a close up wasn’t needed for safety on set. It measures approximately 73cm (28.75") in length. There is some prop blood inside the holes on the blade, and the handle has some paint chipped off from use on set.
