Star Wars - Ep V - The Empire Strikes Back
Original Pen and Ink Storyboard - Zev's Speeder Searches For Han And Luke

An original pen and ink storyboard used in the production of The Empire Strikes Back. This production used storyboard features two entirely hand drawn pen and ink images of Zev and his snowspeeder crossing into shot on his search for Han and Luke on the ice planet Hoth. This and others like it were drawn by the talented Joe Johnston and his first assistant as an early stage of visualising what each shot should look like, and would have then been copied and handed to the heads of departments to ensure everyone was working towards the same goal. This unique has printed descriptions at the bottom with what animation and visual elements are required and “Ext. Hoth – Zev's Speeder – Day”. The storyboard comes framed and glazed in a laser cut mount board with the movie logo. The display measures 43cm x 46cm (17" x 18").
