Star Trek: Deep Space 9
Phaser Rifle Type III

A Type III Phaser Rifle used in the long running sci-fi TV series Star Trek The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine. This particular style of rifle was modelled more after the much smaller phasers and several of the features are clearly related. It has an angular head and black nozzle with three static buttons followed by a similarly shaped body. There are several black ribbed and darker grey panels breaking up the metallic grey paintwork, two hand grips and 'flip up' clear lime green sight which is fixed in the down position to prevent it flying up in inappropriate moments. The overall condition is excellent with some very minor scuffs from production use and storage, measuring 65 x 15cm (25.5" x 6").
