Alien Resurrection
Production Made SFX Crew Member Torso
Stock # 25270
This is a special effects torso rig from the 1997 Science-Fiction film Alien: Resurrection. This item was created for use during a special effects scene where one of the crew members has a Chestburster burst out from their chest cavit. Unfortunately, this particular scene did not make the final cut of the film.
The hard black torso is crafted out of fiberglass and features a large circular opening in the chest, which has been painted and detailed with foam latex to give the appearance that something burst through the chests skin. Attached with zip ties around the wound is a length of plastic tubing, which extends 7' from the body and would have been used during filming to shoot blood from the wound. Additionally, the piece features nylon shoulder straps, as well as a set of foam hips and legs extending out the bottom half of the torso rig. Unfortunately, the foam legs have been simi squished/warped from storage but they still feature a pair of original army green crewmen socks. The entire piece displays wear, including remnants of dried fake blood from production use (see photos), but overall this piece remains in good condition.
This item comes with a Prop Store Certificate of Authenticity.
