Round Silver Coloured Shield

A shield used by a member of Saladin’s army in the Crusade’s action film Kingdom of Heaven. This silver coloured round shield has a Celtic style design on the front, made out of rubber and painted to give the effect of beaten metal, the front has small rose ‘studs’ around a central point and a leather strap at the back. Similar styles of shields can be seen in the final battle sequence before Balian relinquishes Jerusalem to Saladin. Measures 62cm (24.5”) across.
This item comes with a Prop Store Certificate of Authenticity.
