Lord Jim
Small Bronze Coloured Asian Statue
Stock # 21567
A small Asian statue from the 1964 Peter O’Toole movie Lord Jim. This small plaster figurine was used as set dressing in an unknown scene, most likely Stein’s (Paul Lukas) shop full of a wonderful eclectic mix of ornaments, or in the stronghold later in the movie that Jim (Peter O'Toole) and his companions devoutly defend. Made from plaster painted with bronze paint, it shows a bearded, robed man with a staff standing on rocky ground. It is in good condition with only a couple of chips revealing the plaster beneath which is extraordinary considering its age and material. Stands at 30cm (12”) tall.
This item comes with a Prop Store Certificate of Authenticity.
