Alien³
Static Damaged Bishop (Lance Henricksen) Puppet
Stock # 22365
This is a static Bishop (Lance Henriksen) body from the 1992 sci-fi sequel Alien³. In the opening credits of Alien³, the spacecraft Nostromo crashes into prison planet Fiorina “Fury” 161, killing many of the beloved characters from the previous film: one of which is synthetic humanoid, Bishop 341-B. Crafted out of urethane over a foam core, this piece is made to exactly mimic the upper half of Bishop. It can be seen in the opening credits buried under pieces of plastic. When Bishop speaks in the film, it is a separate, mechanical puppet.
This piece features Bishop’s face molded so that the head is smashed in on the side, with a wig of brown hair that’s becoming detached. His arm is bent back behind his head and his lower half is exposed revealing organs, vertebrae, and rubber tubes. The back side of the piece is unfinished and flat. This great prop measures 28” x 22” x 11” (17 x 56 x 28cm). The body is still in good condition with some wear due to age and use.
This piece will come with a signed letter of authenticity from Amalgamated Dynamics, Inc. co-founders Alec Gillis and Tom Woodruff, Jr.
