Straight Key Electric Telegraph

This is an electric straight key telegraph from the production of the 2008 WWII film Valkyrie. The telegraph would have been used mainly as set dressing as many different German military and government offices are shown where the telegraph was prevalent. The straight key telegraph features a metal arm and bar knob leading into a small brown plastic box (capable of opening via a hinge) housing the working parts. Attached to the box and metal base platform is connection cable, which has been cut leaving a length of approximately 43” (109cm). The telegraph measures approximately 6” x 3” (15cm x 8cm) and features some wear, but remains in fair condition.
