T-1000 SFX Hand With Pointing Finger

This is a production made SFX hand with the silver elongated finger from the 1991 sci-fi action film Terminator 2. The instantly recognisable silver pointing finger of the seemingly invincible T-1000 can be seen in the scenes at the end of the film, in the steel mill, when he has pinned Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) to the wall and threatens her with this pointed finger.
Although a computer generated finger is used as we see the finger extend, it then cuts to a physical hand for the close up. This resin molded hand was created for use during these scenes, since computer effects were kept to an absolute minimum as they prohibitively expensive. Due to production use and age this item displays wear (see photos) but remains in good condition. Measures approximately 18" x 4" (46cm x 10cm.)
