Terminator 2: Judgement Day
T-800 Stunt Shoulder/Arm Appendage
Stock # 22235
This is a right arm/shoulder piece created for the production of the 1991 James Cameron film Terminator 2: Judgement Day. The piece was used for the climactic scene where the T-800 only has one arm after an epic encounter with the T-1000.
The shoulder piece is made of foam latex and metal painted silver. Beginning at a plate worn over the shoulder with the help of an adjustable black fabric strap, the upper forearm piece is connected to the shoulder plate via black zip-ties. Two thin plates of metal bolted together then connect the upper to the lower forearm section which is able to rotate 360 degrees. This bottom section contains two cylindrical tube segments with small metal barrels at the end.
On the underside of the shoulder plate there is labeling/writing from the production reading: “Peter Kent, Stunt” (who was Arnie’s stunt double) and “Jim Loves This” (possibly referring to writer/director James Cameron). This piece measures approximately 22” x 10” and has some wear due to age and production use (small paint chips, and some dried foam cracking), but remains in overall fair condition.
This item comes with a Prop Store Certificate of Authenticity.
