Telmarine Soldier's Full Costume With Shield And Mask

This is a full Telmarine Soldier's costume from the 2008 epic fantasy film The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Costumes such as this can be seen towards the end of the film as the Telmarines and the Narnians battle for the crown. This complete costume was made by the legendary New Zealand based effects company, Weta. Weta has a reputation of making costumes and props to a very high standard; they even produced their own chainmail!
Made from multiple layers of fabric and leather, this beautifully crafted costume consists of a long sleeve PVC chainmail over a lace up under shirt (half leather, half fabric.) Over the chainmail armor is a terry cloth studded sleeveless coat and on top of that is a studded, full leather vest with four belt closures. The pants are made of a canvas fabric and feature a repeating star pattern throughout. Also included with the costume are a pair of black leather boots, two leather shin guards, two leather gauntlets with decorative metal over the hand, a metal alloy helmet and a life-like bearded fiberglass mask, with an elastic strap. Best of all, the costume comes with the standard Telmarine green and blue resin shield!
The costume has no marked sizes and the shield measures approximately 43" x 20" (109cm x 51cm.) This amazing collectors piece displays light production wear but overall remains in excellent condition.
