Terminator 2: Judgement Day
Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) Facial Appliance

This is the Terminator's (Arnold Schwarzenegger) facial appliance used in the 1991 action thriller, Terminator 2: Judgment Day. This right side facial feature appliance helped give Arnold the allusion of a robot interior. Worn by Arnold himself, this piece created the smooth transition from Arnold’s actual face into the terminator’s metal skeletal structure.
The piece is made of foam latex, as well as rubber and covers the right side of the face including the top of the skull, around the eye, cheek and jaw line. The skin features artificial wounds (created to look as though the skin was ripped off) which are detailed with fake blood. The plastic faux metal skull pieces display different shapes and indentations, a line around the eye, random circles and rounded rectangles towards the top, as well as fake blood smears. Additionally, the skin, which was painted to match Arnold’s skin tone exhibits sporadic hand punched hairs. The other side of the item features a rubber tan appliance that made for an easier fit onto Arnolds face.
This item still features the wiring and electronics used to illuminate the Terminator's red pupil. Please note, no battery is included with this item and the electronics have not been tested. Due to production use this item displays wear but overall remains in good, production distressed condition. Measures approximately 12" x 5" (31cm x 13cm.)
