VHS Promo Material Original "Baby Copper" Robot Artwork

A stunning piece of original artwork of the Copper “Baby” Robot from the 1987 family fantasy movie *Batteries Not Included VHS release material. Though there are some very slight alterations to the final robot depicted on the poster artwork the posture, colour and expression are all identical and is a undeniably cute little being.The incredibly detailed hand painted image shows one of the 'baby' robots born from the larger visiting alien lifeforms who visit earth and help the tenants save their block. It is painted directly onto thick cream paper and backed onto a larger piece of card and used a combination of what look like watercolours and thicker paints to achieve the almost seamless painting. It measures 34cm x 35cm (13.5” x 13.75”) and is in great condition with some slight yellowing to the card backing.
