Buddy The Elf (Will Ferrell) Costume

The elf costume worn by Buddy (Will Ferrell) in the Christmas comedy Elf. The costume can be seen throughout the film ask Buddy goes about his day to day tasks in the elves workshop, and later when he discovers his father in New York. The costume consists of a woollen green jacket (labelled inside as ‘Mr Ferrell Hero -1’) which has embroidered flowers and berries on the front in green and gold thread, white fur trimmed collar and cuffs and a thick black leather belt with metal buckle, a pair of yellow woollen tights (labelled ‘Mr Ferrell’) one of the feet has been unstitched. Also with the costume is the green conical hat with yellow trim and pink feather (labelled ‘Mr Ferrell, Hero -1) and the curled toe, black leather shoes (labelled ‘Buddy 2’, approximately UK size 10)
