This is an Ephor make-up test for the 2006 graphic novel adaptation 300. The Ephor are the ancient priests to whom King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) goes for advice. They have an ancient look, with misty eyes and boils on their faces. This is a make-up test for the main Ephor (Greg Kramer). It is not a full head, the back portion of the head is flat and hidden by the hood. The head is made of a hard biscuit foam, sculpted to resemble the actor, and painted to test the visuals. The face features misty, blind eyes; boils on the nose, chin, cheeks, and ears; and yellowing skin with visible veins. There is a hood wrapped around the face. The head has a metal rod in the bottom that stands in a small wood platform. The entire display measures about 16" x 8" x 7" (41cm x 20cm x 18cm). It is in good condition.
