The tracking and homing device used in the 1999 Austin Powers film: The Spy Who Shagged Me. These devices were used to trace the whereabouts of the Scottish villain Fat Bastard; the homing device can be seen when Felicity (Heather Graham) lures Fat Bastard into bed and inserts the device where no one would ever (want to) look, later we see Felicity and Austin (Mike Myers) following Fat Bastard on the tracker, showing him to be located in Paddington, London.
The bullet shaped homing device has a twist mechanism that switches on the flashing red light. The tracking device has a circular screen with a map showing the area of Paddington and a telescopic aerial that extends at the top, there are two flick switches at the bottom which switch on the red flashing LED light on the display. These two props come custom framed on a laser-cut mount board with the film’s title and psychedelic background. The box frame is hinged so the frame can be opened and the props can be accessed. This fantastic display measures 74.5cm x 39.5cm (29.25” x 15.5”) approximately and is in excellent condition.
