A set of five Bank of South Africa 200 Rand notes from Neill Blomkamp's 2015 sci-fi distopia film, Chappie. Set in the near future, a damaged mechanized police officer is stolen and given a new operating system, turning it into the first robot with advanced artificial intelligence and feelings. This South African currency can be found in numerous scenes, after the the gangs of Johannesburg take to the streets following the remote shut-down of all mechanized police forces.
Printed on colorful paper, these faux 200 rand bank note features colorful graphics on both sides, and includes "Not legal tender" written on one side, along with "Banka Ya Risefe Ya Afrika Borwa." Also of note, the notes include a a small inscription that reads "Kobus Propmaster - Governess," a nod to Kobus Swart, the films property master.
This fake money shows minor wear due to production use, however it remains in overall good used condition.
