A prop newspaper cover wrapped around a real newspaper from the Tim Burton zany family comedy: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005). This is a made for production newspaper cover known as "The Morning Chronicle' â€“ The best selling morning newspaper for all the family" that displays the headline: "Four Down, one to go" with a sub headline stating "web wiz kid wows world - uses math skills to find Golden Ticket".
There is a printed picture of Mike Teavee (Jordan Fry) holding up his Wonka bar with golden ticket prize. This style of newspaper cover would of been made for the production, and was used as set dressing as it is not clearly seen on screen. The inside 'guts' of this prop is actually a copy of the real life 'New York Times'. This piece remains in very good production used condition and measures 55.5cm x 35cm (21.8" x 13.7").
