A costume worn in the production of the post-apocalyptic action film Children of Men, starring Clive Owen and Michael Caine. In a world where no children can be born, Theo (Clive Owen) is asked to help a group of dissidents by his estranged wife Julian (Julianne Moore), and in so doing finds himself in the care of the only pregnant woman on Earth.
This style of costume was worn towards the end of the film as Theo, fighting for survival in the war-torn Bexhill refugee camp, struggles to find Kee (Clare-Hope Ashitey) and take her from the camp to meet with the Human Project. The costume is composed of a pair of brown suit trousers, a tan corduroy shirt with a lining of tartan-pattern cotton, a dark blue “London 2012” Olympics fleece, a long brown raincoat and a pair of blue and white flip-flops.

Distressed for use on set, the costume features some wear but remains in very good production-used condition. The fleece is marked as size XL with a wardrobe tag marked “Day 7”, with the shirt marked “Theo” and a size XL. The trousers, marked “Sc 196” internally are a size 36” waist with a 34” inside leg. The flip-flops are marked as European size 41/42. The jacket is unsized.
