An Other Mother (Teri Hatcher) concept maquette made for the production of Henry Selick’s 2009 stop-motion film Coraline. A young girl finds a secret world that appears to be an idealized version of her own world. This perfect world begins to unravel as Coraline discovers its dark secrets.
Produced by the innovative stop-motion production company Laika Studios, this figure is constructed from resin and is fully painted. As it is a concept, costume details vary from those seen in the final film. The head is able to be fully removed and attaches to the body with a metal rod that comes from the neck. Included with this figure is a stand that holds it upright (pictured). Showing minimal signs of wear this piece is in overall great condition.
