A Collinwood Fireplace SFX Wolf Statue from Tim Burton's 2012 feature adaptation of the 1960's Gothic television series, Dark Shadows. When an imprisoned vampire named Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp) is accidentally set free, he returns to his home where he encounters his dysfunctional descendants. This item is featured during the scene in which Barnabas activates a secret passage beneath his fireplace. During the reveal, several bronze wolves lining the fireplace tilt their heads up and begin to howl.
This mechanical wolf is made of resin and painted a dark brown/bronze color with engraved fur detailing on its head, neck, and tail. While the interior mechanics have been removed, the head still features some mobility as the neck is constructed of four layered pieces. The wolf has been bolted to a slanted wooden base.
Due to production use, this item features slight wear to the paint however it remains in overall very good condition.
