Darkman's (Liam Neeson) Bandaged Facial Appliance and Bust from Sam Raimi's 1990 action thriller, Darkman. Peyton Westlake / Darkman can be seen in this disfigured state throughout the film after he is attacked and tortured, leaving him burnt and bent on revenge. This particular appliance comes from the scenes in which Westlake attempts to perfect a synthetic skin.
This appliance is made from foam latex that has crafted to appear hideously burnt and scarred with only a small amount of undamaged skin remaining, and has been dressed in dirty bandages that have been wrapped around his face and head. The appliances rests on a foam bust of actor Liam Neeson.
Due to production use and age, this item exhibits some wear to the latex which has hardened over time, and the bust is missing a few of its original bandage strips, however the piece remains in otherwise good, yet fragile condition.
