Kruger's (Sharlto Copley) Stunt Katana from Neill Blomkamp's 2013 sci-fi action film, Elysium. In the distant future, Earth has become an overpopulated wasteland for the poor, while the wealthy live above in a utopian space station known as Elysium. When a factory worker named Max (Matt Damon) is exposed to a lethal dose of radiation on Earth, he embarks on a dangerous mission to infiltrate Elysium in order to obtain a cure before it's too late. This stunt katana can be seen used by the ruthless assassin Kruger during numerous action sequences.
Kruger's katana is made entirely from rubber and features a long slender blade with dual-sided dragon engraving at the base of the blade. The right side of the blade has also been textured by production with stage blood. The tsuka handle has a simulated ito braid that is also made from rubber.
This item measures approximately 2.5" x 34" x 3" (6cm x 86cm x 8cm) and remains in very good used condition.
