Juan Peron (Jonathan Pryce) Dress Uniform

Stock #12932

A dress uniform worn in the Oscar-winning drama musical Evita. Based on the hit stage musical by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, the film follows the meteoric rise of Eva Duarte (Madonna) from poverty to becoming the first lady and spiritual leader of Argentina.

This dress uniform was worn by Juan Peron (Jonathan Pryce), president of Argentina and Eva’s husband, during the scenes at the polo match and in a later scene as he walks up the stairs to his apartment and Eva asks the girl in his bed to leave. The costume consists of a white military dress jacket (labelled “Jonathan Pryce” internally) with faux-gold insignia on the left breast and shoulders, a blue pair of dark blue trousers, a faux-gold clip dress belt, a white shirt, a black tie and a matching white military cap with Argentinian military insignia on the front.

Displaying some minor wear from use and time spent in storage, the uniform remains in very good production-used condition. No sizes marked.
