A monster costume used in the US horror film Feast. The patrons of a bar are shocked when an inhuman beast attacks, killing several of the people inside. With the windows boarded up, they can do nothing but wait for help, knowing that more of the foul creatures remain outside, waiting for their chance to strike.
This particular version of the costume was of the female creature and was used primarily for action scenes, made with a non-mechanical head by one of the leading special effects artists in the industry. Made from foam rubber with plastic ‘hair’ appliances inserted in the back of the head and a collection of pointed acrylic teeth, the skull has 'cracked' detailing and a central protruding bone. The costume still has traces of fake blood from use on set. The body suit also has the cloven feet, which are slipped on separately; the style of the feet meant that the actor had to walk on his toes for all the scenes. Fastenings for the Lycra undersuit run up the back, ensuring a tight, snug fit for the performer.

Well used in the production, the costume shows plenty of signs of on-set use, with some small chunks taken out of the foam in places and naturally occurring wear around the arm pits, all consistent with production use. There is also a tear in the foam at the left rear of the neck collar. Besides these flaws, however, the piece remains in an otherwise good production-used condition. No sizes marked, but appears to have been intended for a very thin, male performer standing approximately 175cm (5' 10") tall.
